「桌子」。

一、置放物品用：置放陳設餅的桌子（出25:23-30 ），來9:2 。

二、特為用餐的「桌子」，太15:27 可7:28 路16:21 22:21 。用於彌賽亞的同伴在末世坐天國的筵席，路22:30 節。羅11:9 或許也含有此意，γενηθήτω ἡ τράπεζα αὐτῶν εἰς παγίδα願他們的筵席變為網羅（詩69:22 ）。由於外邦神明廟宇中地有舉行坐席聚餐的宗教儀式，因此τράπεζα κυρίου主的筵席與τρ. δαιμονίων魔鬼的筵席成為對比，林前10:21 。

三、寓意：指置放於桌上之物而言；「一餐，食物」，παραθεῖναι τράπεζαν擺上飯食，款待人，⊙ 徒16:34 。διακονεῖν τραπέζαις 管理食物，徒6:2 。

四、兌換銀錢者用以置放錢幣的「桌子」，太21:12 可11:15 約2:15 。因此，引伸為銀行διδόναι τὸ ἀργύριον ἐπὶ τράπεζαν把銀子交給銀行，路19:23 。*
